love
I really love my dogs. I've had them since they were pups and they are now four years old. They are like my kids. I had a couple of dogs when I was kid but we didn't have either of them for very long so I never really got attached. Before I got my current dogs I wasn't very much of a 'dog person' but now that I have them I can't imagine not having them. People with kids tell me that I'll be putting them aside when I have kids. I can't see that happening. They are not show dogs or pure breads but they are perfect to me. They bark at people every chance they get and my smallest one at five pounds swears she is a snow dog when we go for a walk. I wouldn't give my dogs up or put them aside for anything in the world.

I never had a dog. I have a kitty and I love her! =]
ReplyDeleteI know that feeling, I had a cat one day, and I really loved him. Then he died -.-
ReplyDeleteHope it won't end that way for your dogs.
Good luck, and followed.
I had a dog for 13 years... Then my mother divorced from my stepdad at this time and he took the dog with him. Never saw either of them again :/
ReplyDeleteDogs, indeed, become part of the family. I got mine in 2001 when he was 40 days old, and i cant imagine my life right now without him. Same goes for my GF, she is super attached to her dog. I guess it happens in every family, the longer you got your dog, a more valuable member of the family it becomes.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a dog to love... I am glad you have a dog! I hope you love it all your life.
ReplyDeleteDog person here, love them!
ReplyDeleteI've never had dogs, only cats, but understand what you mean. :)
ReplyDeleteI have two dogs and two cats, and I couldn't live without a single one
ReplyDeleteWhy don't you love them all equally? haha. When(if) you have children, try to love them all equally. As the child gets older, they'll become less dependent on you and the dogs will become a bit more because their aging but you'll probably shift your attention more to a child for a while because they'll need more care and attention but you can love them all the same :).
ReplyDeleteFollowing Back!!!
Love dogs, but too selfish to have them. So kids definitely wouldn't work out for me either.

ReplyDeleteBut I suck at parenting(animals). I once had a snail as a pet, and it died.
I'm more of a cat-person, but dogs are ok too. I understand your love for your pets, I used to have a few kitties myself
